LOA for Kids

I never would have thought of this, but try it.

My kids love filming themselves and making goofy little movies. M1 runs upstairs and says "Mom, I was filming myself cleaning my room and I noticed that I get distracted very easily. It's crazy." Instead of laaaaaaaughing at her revelation, I just admitted that I do the same thing, and offered her a tip. "try to focus" Luckily she came up with a better (albeit way more complicated) plan. She set the oven timer for 5 minutes and cleaned as much as she could in 5 minutes. Every time it buzzed she snapped a picture. I don't know what she intends to do with the pictures but it was very important that we plug i n the camera NOW so she could see. The entire room took 15 minutes. Including under the bed. She did do a side-by-side comparison of the pictures, maybe she'll scrapbook it?

what a clever idea! I should try and get my family to use that!

I love this idea! My kids are always playing with my camera and I have 2 children in particular that get VERY distracted when cleaning. This may be just the motivation they need!
